Boson®+ High Performance, Uncooled, Longwave Infrared (LWIR) OEM Thermal Camera Module

Made in the United States and compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Boson+ sets a benchmark for longwave infrared (LWIR) original equipment manufacturer (OEM) thermal cameras in terms of performance and size, weight, and power (SWaP). It boasts an unparalleled thermal sensitivity of ≤20 mK and an advanced automatic gain control (AGC) filter, significantly enhancing scene contrast and sharpness. Reduced video latency elevates tracking, seeker performance, and decision support. Radiometry will be incorporated into 640 x 512 and 320 x 256 resolution models in the first quarter of 2024.

Maintaining compatibility with the widely-utilized Boson mechanical, electrical, and optical interfaces, Boson+ facilitates a seamless plug-and-play upgrade. The addition of factory-integrated continuous zoom lenses in new models streamlines development and optimizes performance. With customer-selectable USB, CMOS, or MIPI video interfaces, Boson+ ensures effortless integration into a diverse array of embedded processors from industry leaders like Qualcomm and Ambarella. The user-friendly Boson SDK, GUI, and comprehensive product integration documentation further simplify OEM integration. Its enhanced thermal performance and industry-leading reliability make Boson+ an ideal choice for applications such as unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), wearables, security applications, handheld devices, and thermal sights.
